We would like to invite our authors and readers to participate in a post-election forum for The Arrow. We are looking for short reflections (200 – 400 words) offering a response to the following question:
What guidance and skillful means can wisdom traditions and contemplative practices provide for addressing pressing issues of systemic suffering—such as climate change, environmental injustice, socioeconomic inequality, racism, and violence—in the face of mounting obstacles?
While skills and methods for both individual and collective action are welcome, we encourage reflections to focus on what spiritual teachings can offer for confronting systemic challenges and producing meaningful impact at the collective level.
Please send us your 200 – 400 word submission by 11:59 pm on December 21, 2016. Submissions and inquiries may be sent to editor [at] arrow-journal.org.
